Plex Tiles

Plex Tiles are a totally modular textile system that requires no support. Use them to create handbags, clothing and all sorts of apparel. They work perfectly on even the smallest bed printers, and they use incredibly little material. Print them flat in PLA, or print them in multiple materials and colors, and combine them to create intricate patterns. Plex Tiles consist of a triangular tile and a snap-on connector that's extremely difficult to remove once it clicks into place. You don't have to worry about your designs falling apart because they're stuck together tight. Just plan carefully because you might not be able to take them apart again easily. The base tile has three holes and prints at 2 inches (50.8mm). Connect multiple tiles together to form the main body of your garment. Use two-hole tiles for finished edges, like the top of a bag or purse. The strap tile can be used for straps, belts, bracelets, etc. A three-way connector allows you to drape designs off your main piece or create more complex shapes. It's up to you and your creativity!
