Here is my attempt to recreate your MiniPlan in OpenSCAD: I took a cue from the original MiniPlan design, but decided to make some changes of my own - I blew up the servos so that they'll fit Turnigy TG9e units from hobby king, which I happened to have on hand. I also thought it would be smarter to spend less cash, so these were a cheap option. Next, I set up a naming system for all my files so I can easily track them down. Unfortunately, the arms aren't finished yet - print this part, and you'll end up with parts that don't quite fit. Additionally, I still have work left on designing the head and the shell body pieces. I'm utilizing Adafruit's 16 servo I2C expansion board, plus their 9 DOF sensor module for some serious control.
