This includes following the restrictions of use as outlined below: Any publications, blog posts, or other digital or print references to the downloaded images and models will identify the source of the image as both MorphoSource AND the institution associated with the specimen which these media represent. Publications, blog posts, and all other digital or print media that include reference to the downloaded images/models in any way will be captioned with or otherwise label/cite BOTH the institutional catalogue number of the specimen this media represents AND the MorphoSource media identifiers of the downloaded files. This includes including the MorphoSource DOI when available, but if a DOI is not available, the MorphoSource media number and/or the MorphoSource ARK should be included. These files may not be used for commercial purposes without explicit approval in writing from the current acting curator-in-charge of the relevant collections. This might be subject to legal review by lawyers and/or licensing as per the collection's policy, unless these files are licensed in a way that allows such use (e.g., CC-0). MorphoSource staff can help with getting in touch with curators if necessary. Sharing these files, their derivatives, and/or 3D prints generated from them is only allowed if the user and the third party/parties are engaged in a non-commercial pursuit that cannot be reasonably achieved through each involved individual independently downloading the media. Some examples of allowed sharing include use of 3D prints in education or collaborative creation of derivative 3D media from downloaded files, but this is not an exhaustive list and other allowed uses exist. Generally speaking, if you know of someone who wants this file or could benefit from it, but you did not download it for the purpose of a collaborative effort with that individual, and you are not immediately collaborating with that individual in a way that requires joint access to the same version of the file, then you should not share your copy of the file with that individual. He/she should download it directly. Anyone you do share this file with is bound to this agreement. This provision does not supercede any copyright, usage license or other restrictions placed on the data by the data owner or authoritative collection.
