I designed a special tool, the Pleat Fork, to help me easily create pleats in my sewing projects. The goal was to make it easy to add pleats directly at the sewing machine, eliminating the need for pre-pressing. With a large order of masks to fulfill, I realized that traditional pleating methods were taking up too much time - especially considering the high demand from https://www.makemasks2020.org/. My new Pleat Fork makes it simple to create 1/2-inch deep pleats in fabric, perfect for my mask-making endeavors.
