Plaza El Vergel (Remodelación)

The Vergel Plaza has been one of the most iconic places, steeped in legend, history, and Cuencan culture, located on the right bank of the Tomebamba River. However, as time has passed since a thorough renovation was last done, the benches have deteriorated in a rather peculiar way. What we do in this project is to show an alternative for the plaza to look even more beautiful than it already is, accompanied by the church, which should also get a fresh new look. Since it's one of the most important entrances to the city of Cuenca, the blacksmiths founded their workshops in the area, which remain active until this very day.
