The Vergel Plaza has been one of the most iconic places with a legend, history, and Cuencan identity, located on the right bank of Tomebamba River. However, as much time has passed since a good renovation was done, benches have been deteriorating in a very peculiar way. In this project, we aim to show an alternative for the plaza to look even more beautiful than it already is, accompanied by the church which needs some update. As one of the most important entrances to Cuenca City, blacksmiths established their workshops in the area, and they remain active until today.
