Both versions are fully compatible with each other. The Raspberry Pi case is designed to work seamlessly with both the pi 2 and pi 3 models, closely mimicking the look of a miniaturized Playstation 1. The primary intention behind this design is to facilitate old game emulation using ReTroPie, but it also serves as an aesthetic alternative for those who prefer its resemblance to the original console. Note: This project may require some assembly expertise; familiarize yourself with the parts and their respective positions before applying any glue or adhesives.
