Playstation 4 VR wire bend protection

I created this thing since I realized that VR-Headset cables tend to bend very easily and in a bad way that can lead to cable breakage after some time. To prevent this from happening, I designed this bend protection device. You need to print two of these devices because they have to be snapped together into one unit. Please see the pictures to see how to assemble it - gently clip the two parts together along the thin part of the cable and then push it onto the thicker connector wire outlets - done. You can even leave it on when plugging the connectors in and out. Give it a try - I was surprised myself at how well it works. I made an important update. Please note that Sony has since changed the diameter of the cable outlet collar so that my design no longer fits onto the plugs as intended. At least, not in the way it was meant to be used. Somebody asked how to determine if the new or old version is the right one. I just took a measurement and found that the connectors' grip length is the most obvious difference between the two versions. The old version has a grip length of about 28mm, while the newer one is significantly shorter - around 19mm. I added an image that shows my old version VR-set connectors. Print Settings: * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2 mm layer height * Infill: 40% * Notes: I used BDP from extrudr to print this because it seems a little more flexible than PLA. PLA should work too, and I don't know how ABS would perform, but it should work as well. Print slow to gain good precision - I used 40mm/s. Make sure to have at least three solid layers at the bottom section.
