For optimal performance, it's essential to install the fans first before assembling the three parts together using a strong adhesive. The fan cables can then be safely routed through a small gap provided specifically for this purpose. An external power source is required to energize the fans, ensuring they operate at maximum efficiency. The fans themselves have a maximum height limit of 35mm to ensure a snug fit within the PS4's design constraints.
