Playseat Challenge Fanatec Pedals v3's Mount
thingiverse
I required a mounting solution for my Fanatec V3s pedals on the Playseat Challenge, so I devised this design. I manufactured this in PLA, yet you could opt for PETG for increased strength. There are two variants: one is tailored for M8 bolts since v3's features 8,5mm holes for mounting, while the other is designed for smaller M6 due to COVID-19 lockdowns that resulted in hardware stores being closed and I lacking M8 at home. Four sets of mounts are needed for a single Playseat Challenge. The holes through which the Playseat pedal stand passes are slightly larger to accommodate a TPU pad for improved grip. The attached TPU_pad is 0.25mm thick, printed in two layers; however, depending on your printer, you may need to adjust the height of the pad. I have also experimented with 0,15mm and 0,30mm thicknesses but found them not to be a perfect fit. You can quickly create one in Thinkercad using dimensions of 62x39mm and your preferred height. The required hardware includes: M6 x 40mm screws - four pieces or M8 x 40mm screws - four pieces M3 x 30 mm screws - sixteen pieces and a nut for every screw.
