Playseat Challenge Dayton Audio BST-39 1 Bass Shaker Transducer Mount
thingiverse
There are plenty of bass shaker mounts on thingiverse already, but sadly none for the BST-39 1 from Dayton Audio, so I made it myself. For assembly you are going to need 8x 20mm M4 screws and 8x M4 nuts. The nuts can be socketed into the build and fit quite tight, so they don't fall out on their own. Use the screws to press them in correctly. Optionally you can use two more screws for the mounting part to the playseat, but for me four are more than enough and the shaker is not rotatable without excessive use of force. For printing I used 100% infill, since I am no acoustics / audio expert and I don't know, how well vibrations travel through the different infill densities and patterns. Also there's less risk of damaging the print while tightening the screws. If someone cares, I am using two shakers, each fitted to one part of the frame from the playseat (the back part and the sitting part). They are controlled by a Nobsound Mini amplifier and while it might look very sketchy, it does its part very well.
