Playmobil Kid Crutches

My little ones unwrapped a Playmobil Children's Hospital playset on Christmas morning, but unfortunately, there weren't enough crutches to go around for all the additional Playmobil kids they had received. So, I grabbed my trusty caliper and measured one of the crutches that came with the set. Using those dimensions as a guide, I created a 3D model of a new crutch that would fit perfectly on those extra Playmobil kids. It's worth noting that the dimensions aren't exactly the same as the original, but it works like a charm. To get the best results when printing this tiny crutch, be sure to use a brim and supports just like you see in the second picture. This model is incredibly small, so I recommend printing two at a time to save yourself some time. My kids are already begging for more accessories, particularly extra foot casts to go with their new crutches. We'll have to wait and see what's next on the horizon!
