Playing Card Tiles
cults3d
A comprehensive set of playing card tiles is ideal for rummy tile games like Rummikub. NOTE: If you want the tiles and also need the box that transforms into four tile racks, then you can get both the tiles and box here (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/player-card-tiles-with-transforming-box) Each tile consists of three pieces that snap together seamlessly. The face, the back, and the insert are carefully designed to provide a perfect fit every time. The insert provides the color of the text, so a different colour for each suit is recommended, but you can use two or even one or none if you're running low on colors. The assembled piece is easily disassembled if you want to change the insert colour at any point. There are three height options for the backs that create different thickness tiles, including 6mm (Rummikub style), 10mm, or 14mm (Mahjong style), depending on your personal preference. Also, there are five different tolerances for the width of the friction fit, which will depend on how your printer is calibrated. You can see that the STLs for the backs are named in this format: BlockBackXX_YY.stl XX specifies the thickness of the finished assembled tile in mm, with values of 06, 10, or 14 available. YY is hundredths of a mm that is shaved off the friction fit block, and the larger this number, the thinner/looser the fit will be. Start with 05, as it worked well for me. If you want more values for XX or YY, I can easily generate more for you. To make a Rummikub set, you need two of each suit and two jokers, which adds up to 106 tiles: 2*4*13 + 2 = 106.
