Playing Card Grid for Scanning
thingiverse
This is a Fusion 360 file with a parametric design for a card-holding grid. Why would you need this? For example if you want to scan a large number of physical cards in a consistent grid; e.g. to import them into "Tabletop Simulator". Make sure you obey your local copyright laws! Instructions: ==================== 1. Open card_holder_for_scanning_parametric.f3d. 2. Go to "Modify" -> "Change Parameters"; enter "width_card", "height_card" and "corner_radius_card" to match the format of your card. 3. Optional: If you would like to change the grid size from 3x1 to something else, change "horiz_number_cards" and "vert_number_cards". 4. Print the desired number of parts. 5. Glue together the printed parts to get your grid. See pictures. 6. Tip for scanning: Stick the grid to your scanner bed with adhesive strips so it remains in a fixed position throughout the scanning process. 7. Tip for editing: Lots of image editing software support workflows or batch operations.
