Playhouse Telescope Mount
thingiverse
I bought a cheap telescope to add to my kids playset and there wasn't any way to mount it using the bracket it came with. (Needed a bigger piece of wood than the playset had to mount it) Made this as a replacement so it could be slid over a 1/2 inch piece of wood. I added countersink holes for mounting with wood screws, but it's pretty secure without screws. Worked out pretty perfect, but if the scope ends up being too loose, you can probably put a piece of paper or shim of some kind between the mount and the wood to widen the bottom making the top grip the scope tighter. Mine was a little too loose at first but once I tapped it onto the wood the top tightened perfectly. Such a great use of time for mounting this $12 scope. https://www.amazon.com/Jungle-Gym-Kingdom-Pirate-Telescope/dp/B01N53O1GJ?th=1
