This 3D low-poly model of a PBR ground surface was created for gaming or real-time use as the background setting, and was never intended for complex modeling purposes. Built within Maya18, it was subsequently textured with SP2. As designed in true-to-life scale, it measures in meters rather than being scaled-up. The creation does not demand any specific add-ons beyond standard functionalities available on its base software version. This object consists solely of quads/tris polygons for optimal performance, coming to a count of 6801 facets - enough complexity without excessive computation needed when viewed in-game. Delivered across three major formats suitable for importing into different design suites: Maya18; FBX 2014/15 (supporting the later version as well for better compatibility); And also, in the commonly used OBJ format. To complete its set, this high-polycount scene comes complemented by very high resolution PBR texture files available within the 4096x4096 range in PNG: Color map; Bump maps, or more technically - normal mapping (capturing minute detail and creating added depth for enhanced visual clarity); Ambient Occlusion; and Two more texture categories - for Roughness as well as Metal-ness - critical to achieving accurate lighting interactions within games running at their maximum possible resolutions. Other standard mapping techniques, this scene incorporates those relevant formats also popular in the development world such as: Unity’s diffuse maps and normal map (useful for enhancing detailed visual data); Unity Metallic & smooth textures - helping artists craft real-like game graphics using more realistic reflection capabilities of current high-spec models. Further supported by UE4 mappings: - Color texture; Normal information Occlusion combined w/Rough metal content, a crucial combination offering an even further boost in detail and rendering precision.
