Play Your Radio Through You Phonograph Early 1920's Using Your Headphones

This as a quick & simple little project to demonstrate a low cost product that was made in the early days of radio. The idea was using an adapter to feed the sound from headphones into the amplifying sound horn of a phonograph. When radio was new in the early 1920’s most radios didn’t have a loud speaker or amplifier. The cost of a speaker and most of all an early amplifier was quite high. Just being able to buy a basic radio or build your own was a stretch financially for lots of folks in the 1920’s. Give it a try, with some tweaks such as a more solid print, such as thicker layers and more infill, perhaps it will perform better. But the reality is it was mostly a hopeful idea for folks wanting more and was surpassed as radio technology evolved, prices went down and wages went up.
