Platonic solids

Platonic solids

thingiverse

In Euclidean geometry, Platonic solids are regular, convex polyhedra consisting of congruent faces made up of regular polygons and the same number of faces meeting at each vertex. There are five such shapes, identified by their face count. These can be easily printed using MakerWare Version 2.2.2.89 on a Replicator 2; simply load the object into the software, and select the standard make option while ensuring that the flat face is positioned downward. No further rotations are necessary as these objects are already properly oriented within the program.
