The Plato region remains active, producing notable gas emissions that are often observed by astronomers. Created using the 2016 LROC DEM tif, a massive file measuring 7.9 Gigas in size with a precision of 256 pixels per degree, this object showcases ultra-high definition elevation modeling. The large tif was split into ten manageable parts for easier processing. This model will be updated soon to include an even more detailed representation of the entire moon, divided into eight STL files. For optimal printing results, use a horizontal resolution of 0.1 or 0.05 millimeters.
