Plato 1020. Reconstrucción
sketchfab
Virtual reconstruction of the Phoenician-influenced plate 1020. The original comes from the Orientalizing necropolis on Cerro de los Vientos hill (Baeza, Jaén, Spain). It is made by throwing a potter's wheel, with a diameter of 22 cm, presents an oxidizing firing, with a naranja-colored paste and fine desgrasantes. Preserves remains of red engobe on the upper edge and alternates red and black concentric bands and lines inside. The red lines were made with hematite and the blacks with manganese oxide. It is part of the documented materials in E28, which could have had a ritual function of conviviality, associated with the funerary area. Timeline: 8th-7th BC.
