Plato 1020 displays significant Phoenician influence from the Cerro de los Vientos necropolis in Baeza, Jaén, Spain. Crafted on a potter's wheel, this ceramic piece measures 22 cm in diameter and features an oxidized surface with a fine-grained orange paste. The upper rim retains remnants of a red slip, while concentric bands and lines alternate between red and black within the interior. Red stripes were created using hematite, whereas manganese oxide produced the black hues. As part of the E28 collection, this artifact likely played a role in ritual dining associated with funeral rites. Dating: 8th-7th century BC. Designed by "esTRESd".
