I've had my trusty printer since I took control of the electronics and put them in a compact box right next to the printer with a spool holder standing proudly beside it. The space consumption was utterly wasteful, taking up way more room than necessary. I decided then and there that I needed to place the power supply and the electronics snugly underneath the printer while integrating a seamless spool holder into the mix - this is where my creative solution came into play. At its core lies a sturdy base paired with a top plate that's designed for effortless removal. The plan involves printing four corner pieces using wood for the bottom, sides, and top, but giving the top a distinct thickness of 12 mm to set it apart. For those who want to incorporate the spool holder, simply procure some M8 rods (or an equivalent size) and six nuts - screw them securely into the rear corner pieces. From there, screw on a bolt and attach a Y piece above that, followed by placing four nuts onto a rod before inserting it into the Y piece to support those pesky spools. Next up, I recommend printing a fan holder to pair with an 80mm fan; simply screw them together and drill a hole just above the electronics where the fan fits perfectly - this little addition will prevent it from taking a nosedive. Don't forget to create one or two air exhaust points at the front, rear, or sides of your setup to ensure adequate airflow is flowing through your masterpiece. Lastly, place your trusty printer on top and carefully make some holes to tie it securely in place - some double-sided tape might come in handy here as well.
