Plates: "I LOVE YOU"
thingiverse
After years of dating my significant other, I was looking for a way to express my feelings without just saying "I love you" because that phrase had lost its meaning over time. So, I came up with the idea of creating these "plates" and hiding them in various spots around the house. When she does something special or finds one by chance, it's like stumbling upon a little surprise display of my affection. It's actually worked out very well so far, and we now have about 15 of these plates in different colors. I know there are software programs that can add text to plates, but I wanted to do this the old-fashioned way without using any of those tools. The M74 Maker Mark: This is my personal mark, and I invite you to use it freely as part of your creations. However, please don't resell the models or parts without getting in touch with me first. Feel free to remix my designs however you like. Print Settings: To print this model successfully, I used no supports at all, set the wall thickness to 2, and the top and bottom layers to 3 each. I also chose a 10 percent infill rate, which turned out great. The model requires approximately one arm's length of filament, making it an excellent choice when finishing a roll. If you want to reduce printing costs, try shrinking the length by at least a third – the results are still impressive.
