Instead of using the chamfer tool, I used lines for the outline of the plate. Next, I created a sketch on the inner surface of the plate. I created just two lines symmetrical about a vertical centerline from the origin. When I boss/base extruded them, I made sure to do the fillets in a 3D view. Then, I used a circular pattern to create all 9 instances. Finally, I changed the material to 1060 Alloy.
