Plate holder (2-photons microscopy)

thingiverse

This tool has been designed in order to perform 2-photon imaging in the CA1 hippocampal zone of mouse subjects. This was inspired by the previous work from Ulivi and Colleagues: https://www.jove.com/t/59598/longitudinal-two-photon-imaging-of-dorsal-hippocampal-ca1-in-live-mice This plate holder, allows stable and fast fixation of the head holders during 2-photons microscopy. The plate thickness used here was 0.8mm (titanium), but it should be suited (or easily adaptable) for thicker plates. It was designed to fit under the Olympus XLPLN25XSVMP2 MPE objective: https://www.olympus-lifescience.com/fr/objectives/multiphoton/
