I created this device for a friend's educational purposes, but it was also designed to be functional from the start. The large ring measures 160 mm in diameter, while the small ring is 120 mm across. The flexibility of the device varies depending on the type of filament used, and I've tested it with PETG and ASA filaments, both of which work well. The plate guard is intended to serve as an eating aid, making it easier to eat with one hand. When it comes to food safety, the key factors are printer setup, filament type, usage frequency, and how often you use the printed part. In general, FDM-printed parts have a raw surface with small holes that can harbor bacteria over time. Just be aware of this and take responsibility for your 3D-printed creations.
