The MakerBot Replicator 2's spool holster precisely fits any spool with a narrower spindle diameter of 2.8cm. Upon purchasing a plastic spool for my university's 3D printer, I discovered that the accompanying holsters were excessively wide for my specific spool. This custom-designed holster, created using default settings and a raft on the MakerBot Replicator 2 with supports, was oriented with the flat tab against the build plate (rotated 180 degrees from the picture). The removal of supports may be challenging, requiring caution to prevent damage. Nonetheless, it performs admirably.
