Plastic Reef 4: Spores
myminifactory
Hi!\r\nI attempted to recreate bizarre undersea creatures using procedural and generative algorithms implemented in Openscad with this set of pieces (30 models).\r\nThe style and look of the "Spores" were inspired by Ernst Haeckel's drawings.\r\nI'm captivated by these kinds of drawings and the organic structures that appear to have been created by some sort of algorithm.\r\nSome prints are not easy, so models require supports, good retraction settings, and a z-hop is recommended to improve your slice and printing skills.\r\nIf bed adhesion issues occur, I recommend using a brim or moving down a few millimeters on the model to give a flat surface and a better stick to bed.\r\nThis was made as a community project supported by Fillamentum and lots of passionate makers.\r\nI'd like to thank all of them: 3DMNFilaFlip3DFilamentFrenzyFutLabFilip ŽákovecLab.cafeLeonardo DelgadoOpen InnovationsOpenfilRavMeimadStereolabTrilaband Laila.
