The gearbox adapter enables users to switch from the default 48:1 ratio to a customized 13:1 ratio, resulting in a higher motor speed of 700 rpm when powered by 5V. This modification does not damage any components and allows for easy reverting back to the original gear configuration. To access this new setup, simply exclude the last two gears from the diagram provided. The DC motor's typical torque output is 20 g*cm, whereas the original setup produces a substantial 960 g*cm of torque at 190 rpm. In contrast, the new adapter delivers a notable 260 g*cm of torque at an increased speed of 700 rpm.
