Plastic Buckle - Large
myminifactory
I've printed a lot of plastic buckles over the years with my 3D printer, but I've never been completely satisfied with how they turn out. Either they break, open up easily when pulled on, require a lot of support to stay in place, or just don't fit together right. So, I decided to design a buckle that's better suited for 3D printing, and it's specifically designed for use with 50mm webbing or strap. The best way to print the male part of this buckle is to use plastic that can handle continuous flexing, like PET, Nylon, or PP, while the female part should be printed with a material that excels at bridging gaps, such as PET or PLA.
