When my arthritis gets really bad, everyday tasks like opening water bottles become super challenging. So I came up with a solution to make life easier for myself and others who face similar struggles. I designed two versions of water bottle openers that cater to different needs. The single-hole version is specifically designed for standard water bottle caps and works seamlessly, requiring minimal downward force to grip firmly. The dual-hole version, on the other hand, accommodates both water and soda bottle caps. Some water bottles from soda companies come with larger, bulbous caps that can be a bit tricky to open, but this version still makes it easier than using arthritic hands alone. What's more, this design doesn't require any supports during printing, unlike the single-hole version. If you're only opening standard water bottles, the single-hole opener tends to grip better, but the dual-hole option is a great compromise for those who need to open both types of caps regularly.
