Plasterboard Hole Plug

Plasterboard Hole Plug

prusaprinters

Simple 'plug' to fill large holes in plasterboard prior to filling and sanding. I made these to plug a number of downlight holes ranging from 65mm to 80mm in a ceiling.

The file is sized for a 100mm hole, so just scale X and Y with the percentage being the diameter of the hole you wish to fill. The points are slightly bigger and the circle diameter slightly smaller, allowing the points to bite in. Just needs a gentle tap in with a hammer to just below 'flush' level and then you can use the filler of our choice to finish off the hole.

Hopefully useful for someone else :)

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.3mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: Doesn't Matter PLA Doesn't Matter

Category: DIY
