The Colorful Figure Measures 13 cm in Length, 10.5 cm in Width, and 40 cm in Height. According to Legend, Saint Barbara's Father Dioscorus Imprisoned Her in a Tower for Converting to Christianity. A Lightning Bolt Split the Tower Walls, Allowing Barbara to Escape, but She Was Caught and Sentenced to Death. Her Father Personally Executed Her Sentence with a Sword, but He Was Punished Instantly by a Lightning Bolt That Turned Him to Ashes on the Spot. Since the 17th Century, Saint Barbara Has Been Patroness of People Who Handle Explosives.
