Plaster Sample, Edinburgh Castle
sketchfab
In 1617, a glimpse into Edinburgh Castle's Laich Hall would have revealed exquisite plasterwork adorning the ceiling. This Jacobean frieze sample is all that remains of the original plasterwork. It was salvaged during the reconstruction of plaster schemes in the royal apartments at the castle in 1998. For more information on visiting Edinburgh Castle, please visit our website.
