Mold kit for to be cast with plaster of Paris. Can be used to make resin pendants or other items. Directions: 1. Place the flat rectangles plates into the bottom of each mold tray, spray each piece with coconut oil spray on all sides for easy release once set. 2. Pour plaster into mold tray and place the molds into the tray aligning the holes on each corner. Place the mold and tray upright into a vice and gently squeeze them together, top up each mold with plaster. 3. Once set after 24 hours, carefully remove the top of the mold from the tray being careful to not snap the alignment pins. 4. Use the pressing tool to release the molds from the bottom and remove the plates from the bottom of each mold, alternately, you can cast in the casting tray halves when aligned with the pins in each corner. 5. Allow to dry for at least 48 hours. 6. Spray each mold with release spray or other release agent 7. Align molds and gently clamp together (preferably with some kind of metal plate on each side to ensure even pressure) and pour casting material into the spout on the top. Tips: 1. If the molds aren't entirely flush with each other once cast gently rub them against each other, or on some sandpaper on a flat surface. 2. Use a bit of salt in the plaster mix to set the mix faster, you will need to work quicker though as it can quite rapidly set the mix. 3. Give the molds a tap while the plaster is wet to help remove air bubbles in the mold which can be dangerous when casting with your chosen casting material. 4. Visible holes in the mold can be filled with plaster prior to casting, ensure any filling plaster is completely dry before casting. 5. Ensure molds are completely dry before casting. 6. USE SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTIVE GEAR (vapor filtered respirator, goggles, apron, welders gloves, leather boots, thick clothing etc) WHEN HANDLING ANY CASTING MEDIUM, CONCRETE OR PLASTER OF PARIS MIX! 7. Ensure casting is always done preferably outdoors in a well ventilated area away from children and others. Most casting medium is highly toxic especially to women and children.
