I had to get creative since the standard throttle handle can't take high-wattage PWM drivers, and all strong drivers use pure resistive control instead of HALL effect sensors. So I came up with a custom gear solution that rotates a potentiometer. It's working beautifully, no issues at all. If you want to do the same thing, you'll have to tap the head of the handle to thin out the aluminum, then slide on the spur gear and glue it to the body. Once that's done, the electronics part is straightforward - just have fun with it...
