Plasma Rifle Pull Ball Chain, Keychain Knob | Handle | Fob | Finials
thingiverse
This Ceiling Fan / Light pull chain, ball chain, pull string knob, handle, finial, fob is crafted for use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain, but it will also work with smaller chains as long as you attach a #6 metal connector. I have included the complete file for this design, which will require a brim and supports for a perfect print. To achieve optimal results, use the left/right files and glue them together carefully. To assemble the pull chain, simply feed the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it securely. If you're using a ball chain and metal connector, you can form a loop around a keyring and hook the other end of the connector onto it. If you don't have a metal connector, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've provided. Note that if you print the connector in PLA, it may be a tight fit. To assemble it, lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain, and push down until it snaps into place. You can also use string with a large knot tied in the end for assembly. When printing this design, I usually use 10% infill, but if you plan to use it on a ceiling fan, you may want to increase the infill for added weight. As an experienced designer, I have created hundreds of remixes. If you're interested in searching by type, visit my profile at https://www.thingiverse.com/ToaKamate/about.
