This is a holder that contains two laser-line diodes, a 9-volt battery, and a micro on/off switch. It attaches to a plasma torch, projecting a set of cross-hairs onto the material surface, making it possible to place the torch precisely before starting. The mount was designed specifically for use with Thermal Dynamics SL100 machine torches (1.4 inches in diameter). Three holes are present, accommodating #6 machine screws to securely fasten the diodes and the torch once the mount is assembled. Affordable laser diodes can be found on eBay or Amazon. The mounting holes have a 1/2-inch diameter. A quarter-inch diameter hole accommodates the micro switch.
