Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan, home to the Khaibullinsky District, witnessed a significant archaeological discovery in 2010 at the Perevolochan-2 necropolis. Amidst numerous kurgans, one stood out - kurgan number 4 - which yielded an extraordinary find: a bronze plaque buckle attached to a horse's harness. This artifact dates back to the Iron Age and provides valuable insight into the chronology of the region. Researchers place its origins at the end of the V or IV century BC, firmly embedding it within Sarmatian culture.
