Plantronics Gamecom 780 Headband

A Replacement Part for Those with a Broken Hinge on Their Plantronics Gamecom 780 Headsets (Like Me). To Avoid Disconnecting the Cable, I Opened Up the Old Hinge Enough Using a Craft Knife So I Could Remove Both Ear Cups Along With the Wiring. First, You'll Need to Pry Off the Upper Covers on the Hinge That Hold the Ear Cups in Place Using a Screwdriver. Then, You Can Unscrew the Ear Cups and Reuse the Screws. The Cushioning Inside the Hinge Is Also Reusable - Simply Remove the Covers and Peel Away the Glued-On Cushioning. I Designed the Hinge Again from Scratch, So It May Be Necessary to Heat It Up with a Hair Dryer After Printing and Shape It Back into Place, Depending on the Type of Filament Used. This Is Because the Original Hinge Is Made of Thinner Material and Is Therefore Much More Flexible. I Designed Almost Everything Using FreeCAD and Then Printed It Out Using My Multec Multirap M420 Single-Extruder 3D Printer With Red PLA-HT Filament From Simona.
