Hey,

The design contains a wated buffer in the bottom. For this, the top part of the flower pot has drainage holes. By this the water, that is exceeding the soils capacity of soaking up water, can be floated to the water reservoir in the bottom.

To ensure the water can be supplied to the top again, it is recommended to fiddle some hemp cords through the drainage holes to the buffer in the bottom. You can see this in the very last picture.

Explanation of the files.

There is always one size of the pot. So in order to ensure you have the right size. Please scale it in the slicer.

Recommendation:

3MF Files: Vase_100_top & Vase_100_bot

→ Scale in 100 & 133

3MF Files: Vase_166_top & Vase_166_bot (better fit of toleraces with bottom part and more drainage holes)

→ Scale in 166, 200, 250, 300 (depending on your printer)

Print setting

If you use Scale 200 and you want to slice the file yourself, please turn it slightly on your MK3S, so it fits the build plate.

In the pre sliced files I used the setting for the MMUS single color. This shouldn't be a problem. Further, if you want to have a longer life time of your flower pot please use 3 wall perimeter and 3 solid layers bottom / top should be fine.

Further, if you plan to use your pot outdoors, please consider using PETG.

3 colored vase setting

Last but not least, you can see some 3 colored pots. In order to have the perfect match with the water buffer part in the bottom, I would recommend to pause the printer at the following heights:

3MF Files: Vase_100_top

Scale 133: 61mm height

Scale 166: 82.6mm height

Scale 200: 110mm height

Scale 250: 210 x 250 x 250

Scale 300: 240 x 300 x 300

Dimensions

When you have finalized the pots (top + bottom) they would have the following dimensions (HxWxD).

Scale 100: 90 x 100 x 100

Scale 133: 115 x 120 x 120

Scale 166: 150 x 160 x 160

Scale 200: 180 x 200 x 200

Scale 250: 210 x 250 x 250

Scale 300: 240 x 300 x 300
