Do you want to plant small flowers and water them automatically? Version-0: 17-Dec-17 This is a base container I designed as my first serious attempt at creating greener homes. Use a solid wooden wedge strip to secure this container and create an array of it. I have provided a watering draft in the form of small 4mm tubular sections, followed by a through-and-through recess. This recess is kept slightly above the lower edge of the pot so that it won't get choked due to soil. The 4mm circular section extends below the recess and acts as an anti-splashing feature. Keep the flow rate of water very low. Version-1: 17-Dec-17 The upper dovetail is now 'curtailed' and the bottom dovetail has been removed. Instead, supports are provided to serve the overall purpose. Thanks go out to DropCat for their inputs. Update: 22 - Dec-17 Refer to the link below for a Hygormeter-based water system: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2238218. Alternatively, look at (Thanks to Enzi1984) 4 relay module, 5V: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01M8G4Y7Z/ module YL-38 for Hygrometer: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00ZR3B60I/ D-Sub, 25-pin: https://www.conrad.at/de/d-sub-buchsenleiste-180-polzahl-25-loetkelch-1-st-741698.html You will also need to include an Arduino/R-Pi and hygrometer, along with a pump and motor for automatic watering. To make this fully autonomous and eco-friendly, you may operate the electronics/electric motor using solar cells. Let me know if you create one and contribute towards 'Greener Home'.
