# Plantero --- ### Self-watering planter Plantero is a self-watering planter with a modern design and clean look. It has a double layer walls that serves as a reservoir for your plants that feeds them from the bottom. ### Dimensions - Height: 90mm / 3.54" - Diameter: 100mm / 3.93" --- ### Finishing You can use your Plantero right after your printing finishes. But if you want an even better finishing you can follow this steps. *This steps also works if you have smalls leaks between your layers. 1. Sand it with incremental grit, you can start from 80 and finish it with 200 to 400. It is recommended to use wet sanding in the higher grit 2. Use spray filler primer to smooth the faces even more (I used Rustoleum and it work perfect) 3. Sand it again with a very fine grit. 200-400 again is ok. 4. Paint it with a finishing layer of your favourite color (I used Rustoleum here again and the finishing was perfect) 5. Enjoy --- ### Recomendations - Fill a layer of pebbles at the bottom of the planter and then put the soil with a little compaction - Check the soil constantly. If you put too much water it can damage your plants and the soil - If you print the Plantero with PLA be careful with exposing it to the sun.
