Planter wall hanger - custom sizeable

<p>I've made many of these planter hangers in the past, but all of them were custom tailored to a specific pot. Now I've decided to make them easily available so anyone with interest, but without any 3d modelling skills can print them.</p><h4>Sizing:</h4><p>There are 2 groups of files with 2 most common shapes of a planter - type A with rounded profile and type B with conical wall. Measure diameter and height of your planter precisely and pick a version with the size closest to the one you have. This is however where<strong> close enough won't do.</strong></p><p>Next you have to select a closest version and scale it in slicer to match your planter perfectly:</p><p>Let's say for example you have a planter with diameter 122.5mm and height 111mm. You would select version ø120h110 with diameter 120 and height 110mm.</p><p>Now scale it in slicer by (122.5/120)*100=102% in X,Y(diameter) and (111/110)*100=100.9% in Z axis (height). <strong>This should give you a</strong> <strong>perfect fit for your pot</strong>.</p><figure class="image image-style-align-center image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/247260/rich_content/4e86ae25-4fb2-4573-b874-4ddc14d8f779/2022-07-24-20_42_12-prusaslicer-230-based-on-slic3r.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22d1408c4f-b1fa-4a25-93b0-dff1872f5e06%22%2C%22w%22%3A518%2C%22h%22%3A236%7D"></figure><p><i>This is an example in Prusa slicer, but other slicing software will be very similar.</i></p><h4>Printing:</h4><p>The upper hook requires supports to print, but you will save yourself some cleanup if you disallow supports on the mounting holes.</p><p>Thicker walls - such as 3 or 4 perimeters recommended to make it sturdier. Otherwise nothing special.</p><h4>Troubleshooting:</h4><p>If you printed in PLA, you can bend the part in hot water for better fit, but that shouldn't be really necessary. Maybe if you incorrectly eyeballed the size, it's slightly off and now you don't want to throw away the print. Or in cases where the planter has unusually thick wall for it's size.</p><h4>Hardware required:</h4><p>They are meant to be screwed to the wall, so you'll need 2 screws of a type suitable for your wall.</p>
