Plantar Fasciitis Graston Technique Scraper Tool
thingiverse
My partner is plagued by Plantar Fasciitis and recently showed me a video featuring someone who uses a wrench as a makeshift tool for the Graston Technique - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQhtavGoL6A. Since I didn't have a wrench, and shipping a large metal object through customs could raise some eyebrows with security, I quickly designed a 3D printable tool to serve the same purpose. Printed vertically, this tool doesn't require supports, but printing it horizontally will yield a stronger part. If you plan to be aggressive with the tool, print it horizontally; however, if light use is all you need, printing it vertically is perfectly fine. It goes without saying that consulting a doctor before attempting this or any similar technique is essential, and I offer no guarantee as to its effectiveness, suitability, or safety for individuals. Use at your own risk and consult a doctor first. This design can be scaled up or down depending on whether you need it for calf/thigh pain or foot pain; if you only need it for foot pain, simply scale it down to fit your foot size.
