Easily plant and replace plants from your vivarium with this convenient false bottom! Simply fill the bottom of the vivarium with LECA, growstone or hydroponic growing medium of your choice to create a perfect drainage layer. Wrap garden barrier mesh around the pots you want to use on top, add your plants and substrate into the pots, and cover it all with substrate of your preference. The holes in the legs can be used as drains by creating a simple siphon if you overwater your drainage layer. This false bottom is designed for approximately a 12" x 12" x18" vertical vivarium and comes complete with a full piece as well as sections, making it easy to print on various bed sizes.
