Plant Watering Ring
thingiverse
This straightforward watering system consists of a simple ring that can be easily pushed into the base of a garden plant to facilitate more efficient irrigation. By holding water poured at the base of the plant and allowing it to seep in gradually, it significantly reduces wasteful runoff. The ring features a basic yet effective latching mechanism that enables easy opening and precise placement. To set it up, push the ring (teeth facing downwards) into the soil until there's no space between the ring and the surrounding earth. Although the latch isn't watertight, a small amount of water will still seep through, but most of it should directly reach the plant's roots.
