This is an effortless print plant watering 'globe'. Designed to resemble a gourd with a flat base for hassle-free printing without supports, it's perfect for beginners. Printing it on its side enhances its stability and adds strength. Modeled using Fusion360 and Meshmixer, this design offers endless possibilities. I printed one at 115% size on an Ender3 and was surprised to find that it holds a generous 12oz (300ml) of water. Using wood filament, I achieved a beautiful finish by sanding, staining, and varnishing the print. To make it more airtight, apply a clearcoat or thick layer of wax to the outside at the very least. Consider using clear filament for an even more impressive look. If you like this design, check back in a month or three – I'm planning to add more versions!
