Plant stake
thingiverse
The stake supports plants outdoors using straps sold in hardware stores that stick with velcro. The stake has slots that are 2mm x 15mm. Insert the base section into the soil. Extend the top section for a usable height and attach it using a connector. Depending on how it is printed, the top may fit snugly without needing glue. If necessary, wipe acetone onto the end of the stake and slide it in. Additional top sections can be added for more height. You will need one Plant_stake_bottom.stl file, one Plant_stake_top.stl file, and one connector - either a square or round connector, depending on your preference. The photos show both designs using contrasting colors to highlight the different parts. A newer version has larger holes (4mm x 15mm) for accommodating bigger ties than velcro straps. Print Settings: Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Resolution: .20 Infill: 15% Notes: Print the base, top, and one connector. If a snug fit is not achieved, add some acetone to hold it in place without adhesive.
