Plant / herb label
thingiverse
A simple, elegant design for plant labels is always more enjoyable to create yourself rather than buying them. They look great in black with white marker text or any other color. Printing in PLA is possible, as shown by the black label in the picture, but when used in a small greenhouse, it started bending after just a few hours. Therefore, PETG or ABS is recommended. As a beginner 3D printer hobbyist, I had only PLA to work with, but I knew this beforehand. The choice of material depends on how you plan to use your labels. The transparent blue ones in the picture are made from PETG. A design feature of these labels is an indent area where you can neatly write your text. The pointed end makes it easy to stick them into the ground. To achieve a smooth writing surface, ensure that you print at least three top layers or use a higher infill rate. This prevents the infill grid from showing through unless you're using a transparent material. Have fun experimenting!
